It’s presence as low as 0.9% is enough to prevent practically all microbial growth in solution.

Benzyl Alcohol is often the primary solvent and sometime the only solvent in a steroid given formula. Its primary function is as a sterilizing agent. However, due to its solvency power it is often used to keep hormones in solution with oil or other vehicles. It is also one of the thinnest (that is best for viscosity reduction).

Its use in Steroids is to preserve the suspension for months, even years, without any reduction in sterility. Alcohol is an antibacterial disinfectant and is used as such in many industries. As aforementioned Benzyl Alcohol ensures the Steroid maintains its sterility when used in the right concentration.

Increase Solubility

Benzyl Alcohol (BA) is used to increase the lipid solubility of esterfied compounds and to prevent bacteria growth in the oil.
The shorter the ester, the more BA is needed to get the compound to dissolve.More BA is required to dissolve the raw powder to make high concentration products

Benzyl- Benzoate is a solvent. This means solutes such as Hormone Powders dissolve easily in it, and that is the main purpose of its use in Steroids. The Benzyl Benzoate is used to dissolve and suspend the Hormone Powder. If the correct amount of this solvent is not used the Hormone powder will ‘undissolve’ from the solution causing the Steroids to ‘Crash’ (get cloudy/less effective).
Some Hormone Powder dissolve more easily than others and therefore less Benzyl Benzoate is required. The fact that varying amount of the solvent are required for the Hormone Powders is why having this page as a resource is so vital.

GSO = Grape Seed Oil.GSO is called the ‘carrier’.A much superior oil for steroid injections, as opposed to cottonseed oil, but also has a shorter shelf life. It should be stored in a dark place, at room temp.

Grape seed oil is much thinner, has anesthetic qualities, repairs damaged tissue and is actually healthy for you.It is cheaper, more sterile,more readily available, thinner, and above all, less allergenic than other oils. The stuff shoots great.

So when you use GSO; you can use a smaller needle, create less scar tissue and help repair the tissue that is damaged with the injection.

4. Steroids Carrier Solvent Ethyl Oleate EO

Ethyl Oleate is a carrier. It is great for short esters like Acetate, Propionate and Phenylpropionate forincreasing concentrations of these esters without crashing.

Steroids Carrier Solvent

Ethyl oleate is used as a solvent for pharmaceutical drug preparations involving lipophilic substances such as steroids.It is a relatively new solvent in the realm of bodybuilding, EO is Oleic Acid with an ethyl ester. EO is an excellent solvent for lipophilic compounds in injectable preparations. Its oxidative stability helps extend the shelf life of compounds, and its low viscosity provides for easy injections.

EO = Ethyl Oleate. EO is a solvent, which dissolves the steroid powder but its use is to thin the solution’s viscosity.It’s a thin and expensive oil, created from ethanol, and used as a rubber softener, solvent, and typically used by us as a base for steroid solutions. It provides smooth and painless injections, and will suspend compounds at much higher concentrations than just oil. (It will make 100mg/ml Prop completely painless…) And because it’s a solvent, it allows you to use less Benzyl Benzoate in your blends, however BA is still used to maintain sterility.

EO used for short esters

Ethyl Oleate is a carrier. It is great for short esters like Acetate, Propionate and Phenylpropionate forincreasing concentrations of these esters without crashing.

Many people feel that Ethyl Oleate creates painless injections while others don’t feel the same. I only would suggest Ethyl Oleate for short esters for reducing pain and increasing concentration.

You can use a 50/50 concentration of Ethyl Oleate and oil such as Cottonseed or Grapeseed to increase concentration of NPP to 200mg/ml without crashing.

Some people feel that isn’t all that it is cracked up to be as many long ester formula’s seem to crash. Also the other con is the cost of Ethyl Oleate.

For many the pain is reduced because Ethyl Oleate is thinner and has lower viscosity then say grapeseed or cottonseed oil.

Personally I don’t use Ethyl Oleate currently as I don’t see many benefits over cottonseed oil or grapeseed oil.

You could even consider a 50-50 mix of EO and GSO. EO makes the gear thinner and some suggest more painless. On the other hand, some guys don’t take well to EO and it causes them pain. EO also does harm to the plastic/rubber end of the plunger of a syringe so you can’t hold your gear inthe syringe for any duration of storage.

If you notice, there is a trend…generally long esters hold easier at higher concentrations and require less solvent (EO/BB) than short esters.

Side Effect

Some people are allergic to Ethyl Oleate.

5. Steroids Carrier Solvent MCT Oil

MCT is a complex of medium-chain triglycerides of plant origin. They are found in a natural form in a very limited amount, and in food their main source is cocoa oil. MCT fats are wholly metabolised by the liver with energy release, without a tendency to their accumulation in the body in the form of adipose tissue. The dietary properties of MCT fatty acids arise from the fact that they are absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract directly into the portal vein, and in contrast to other fatty acids lipase or bile is not necessary for their digestion. Therefore, MCT oil is often used in diseases associated with fat absorption impairment. MCT fatty acids are absorbed into the general blood circulation very rapidly (similarly as glucose), and for their burning two times less oxygen is needed than in the case of the remaining fatty acids. They are characterised by twice higher burning energy (8.3 kcal/g) than carbohydrates or proteins (4 kcal/g), which results in increased thermogenesis (temperature increase) of the body. Very rapid absorption and transformation of MCT oil allow saving muscle glycogen stores during sports training. Furthermore, MCT acids slow down the migrating motor complex of the body, which prolongs the time of mucosal contact of food, and thus improves food absorption. Moreover, a favourable influence of MCT oil on absorption of vitamin E, calcium, and magnesium was found. MCT oil does not raise the total cholesterol level in blood, but regulates the quantitative shares of its fractions, elevating the content of HDL-cholesterol (beneficial) while lowering at the same time the share of ***8220;bad***8221; fractions (LDL-cholesterol). OLIMP MCT is recommended as: – a source of rapid energy indispensable during a workout and for physically active persons, – a factor supporting anabolic transformations and limiting catabolic processes of muscle mass, – a factor contributing to adipose tissue reduction, – a factor regulating the share of individual cholesterol fractions in blood (HDL, LDL).

USAGE

for sportsmen and physically active persons regulating their body mass.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Take 1/2 spoonful 2 times a day with a meal for the first 2 days, gradually increasing the amount every 3 days until the optimum dosage is achieved: 1-3 spoons 2 times a day. NOTE: Consumption of single doses higher than 100 g, without previous adaptation may cause gastro-intestinal problems. Long-term consumption of MCT in high doses increases L-carnitine demand. Keep out of reach of children.

GSO is still the most commonly used carrier oil. But will MCT oil be a better option?

1. MCT oil-based injections look more clear. Unlike yellowish GSO-based injections.
2.With little viscosity, its oil is much eaiser to be filtered than GSO-based oil.
3. MCT oil could be the best carrier oil to cook high-dose oil, like Test E 600. No pip.
4. High-dose MCT oil-based injections will be the blessing for EO-allergic users.

6. Painless Steroid Injection Super Solvent Guaiacol

Guaiacol is called super solvent,as with most high mg gear it contained guaiacol as a solvent used to create high level of concentrate.

Super Solvent

Guaiacol is the methyl ether of pyrocatechin, and is obtained by distilling guaiacum from wood-tar creosote. A strong solvent pure and simple it has some water miscibility to it and high degree of oil solubility as well.Guaiacol is called super solvent,as with most high mg gear it contained guaiacol as a solvent used to create high level of concentrate.It can dissolve powder more easily,and mainly used for oral steroids such as Oxandrolone,Dianabol,Winstrol,anadrol,etc.

Guaiacol is a combustable compound, so be very careful when brewing this if you use an open flame as your heat source. i would suggest everyone have a good hotplate with automatic, magnetic stirring if you regularly homebrew though.

Reduce Pain

Guaiacol has been shown to have anesthesic properties, though to what extent I can’t comment personally on. This fact is probably why solutions in high concentrations using the super solvent are reported to be painless or nearly painless by users.

But to give you an idea of the power of the guaiacol 300mg/ml testosterone propante can be made using .5g guaiacol to 1gram of testosterone propante. While this inject is tolerable it is not pleasant and I would not care to do this every day. Note the pain is independent of the hormone used, 100 mg/ml is the same as 300mg/ml. The only solution that I have gotten that is somewhat comfortable is a water reducible I made with it. See below:
1. 1gram of guaiacol
2. 2grams of D-bol
3. 1.2ml PG
4. 0.5ml BA

Side Effect

Though Guaiacol is a super solvent we seldom use it because it causes side effects which many people don’t like,such as:Allergies,Irritability,Fever,Cough,Disgusting vomits……

It has been shown to have irritating properties on inhalation, injestion, or skin contact in high quantities. It permeates the skin barrier very readily and will be distributed systemically as well.
